Tia Williams, a lifetime member of the Frogtown/ Rondo, continues to serve her community in her role as Co-Director at the Frogtown Neighborhood Association (FNA). As a single mother Tia raised her two daughters in the same community. Tia is a graduate of the acclaimed Organizing Training through Hope Community called SPEAC (Sustainable Progress through Engaging Active Citizens). After completing the training Tia joined HOPE’s Board of Directors and the SPEAC Advisory Board for six years. Tia often sites racism’s silent impacts that facilitated her growth in building Individual and community power through relationships.
