Nelima Sitati Munene is a Community Development professional who is passionate about advancing racial, economic and social equity. She has served on various boards and commissions and is currently a member of the Metropolitan Council’s Equity Advisory Committee and the prg Board. She served on the Met Council’s Housing Policy and Planning Work Group. Nelima is an Alumni of the Humphrey Public Policy Fellow and the James P. Shannon Leadership Institute. She currently serves as the Executive Director of ACER – a grassroots issue based organization working in the Twin Cities to advance equity especially within the African Immigrant community.
